Savoury Oats,with Venison,Egg & Goats Cheese
The majority of oatmeal recipes are all ‘sweet’ , But oats are one of the best ingredients to make delicious savoury dishes.
Try this easy to prepare recipe which is low in carbs, high in protein and moderate fat and all just 350 calories.
Ingredients

1/2 cups Quaker Oats
-
1 1/2 cups water
-
Pinch of sea salt
-
2 oz (57 g) Venison
-
1 medium egg
-
10 g Goats Cheese
-
1/2 cup fresh spinach
Preparation Instructions

Bring the water to boil
-
Add the oats to boiling water with a pinch or sea salt and simmer for approx 20 minutes or until most of water is absorbed.

Grill cook the venison based on how you like it i.e rare, medium, well done

Grate Cheese
-
Dice Spinach
-
Fry egg in non stick pan or poach egg (it does not have to be sunny side up)

Place cooked oats into a dish, add fried egg and venison on top.

Finish off dish by sprinkling cheese and spinach on top
